Security of Donor Information

Washington Area Women’s Foundation uses its best efforts to respect and protect the privacy of our online visitors and donors. We will not share or sell a donor’s personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailing on behalf of other organizations.

Companies we work with to process credit card transactions also use high grade encryption and security protocols. Contributions may also be made by calling 202-347-7737 and asking for the development department.

Cancelling Donations

Donations processed on Washington Area Women’s Foundation’s Web site are legally irrevocable. However, under extenuating circumstances, we may be able to approve a donor’s request for a refund.
