To advance Early Care and Education we house the Early Care and Education Funder’s Collaborative (ECEFC), connecting funders and facilitating learning, action, and philanthropy.
The ECEFC funds advocacy and grassroots organizations to increase the quality and capacity of and access to early care and education in the Washington, D.C. region.
We improve the quality of early care and education for low-income children 0-5.
We expand access to affordable early care and education options.
We support professional development for early care and education professionals.
We encourage and strengthen partnerships among stakeholders that support positive changes in the early care and education system.
We are grateful for organizations and individuals that invest in a shared vision to build a strong Early Care and Education system.
The ECEFC is a multi-million-dollar joint funding effort supported and directed by local and national corporate funders and foundations.
We support programs that reflect the diversity of the communities we serve.
Our grantee partners who receive our grants are individuals who bring innovation, leadership, and positive change to our community.
