To advance Early Care and Education we house the Early Care and Education Funder’s Collaborative (ECEFC), connecting funders and facilitating learning, action, and philanthropy.
The ECEFC funds advocacy and grassroots organizations to increase the quality and capacity of and access to early care and education in the Washington, D.C. region.

Community Youth Advance (CYA) harnesses the power of community and transforms out-of-school time to Teach, Reach and Keep youth on the path to success.
Mamatoto Village empowers Black women by offering career pathways in maternal health and accessible perinatal support services.
Dedicated to serving the African Immigrant and Refugee community in the D.C. region, The Person Center provides holistic support to survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
The Children's Opportunity Alliance uses a system-wide approach to ensure Montgomery County’s early care and education systems are equitable for all children and their families.
DC Family Child Care Association offers home-based family childcare for children 6-weeks to 12 years of age for full-time and part-time care.
SPACEs In Action empowers DC and Montgomery County residents for social justice through leadership, training, grassroots organizing, and safe spaces.
Child Resource Connect nurtures kids through family support and caregiver education, impacting half a million children and aiding 1,500 families and 2,000 childcare providers.
NVAEYC, an affiliate of NAEYC, comprises 800+ caring members – educators, families, and professionals – dedicated to fostering the healthy development of young children.
MSSPA is a non-profit organization formed by early childhood education professionals to support Spanish-speaking providers in the Washington Metro area.
MSFCCA is a volunteer-driven organization advocating for registered family child care providers in Maryland, promoting visibility and respect for their profession.
DCAEYC, a DC affiliate of NAEYC, advocates high-quality early learning for young children through connections in practice, policy, and research.
DC Fiscal Policy Institute centers Black and brown communities in its research, advocacy, and partnerships to drive racially-just tax, budget, and policy decisions.
DC Girls' Coalition amplifies voices of young women, girls, femmes, and non-conforming individuals, centering their leadership for policy change and advocacy.
Voices for Virginia's Children advocates for children's policies, ensuring the Commonwealth's vulnerable youth are prioritized and supported.
